- Condemning the Brutal actions of the Nigerian army towards the Shias. Many Of them were killed, injured and their properties were destroyed.
- Praying and demanding the release of Sheikh Zakzaky and his colleagues.
- Sheikh Zakzaky was also arrested in the previous years about 3-4 times. Many protesters have been killed by the army.
- Urging everyone to not only talk about it but to also send a polite but strongly worded message of protest to the Nigerian embassy in Ottawa.
- This is to show the Nigerian government that the Shias there are not alone and that the world is watching.
- Explaining who the Nasibis are. They are those who recite the shahadatayn but they hate the Ahlulbayt.
- Our aiima unanimously agree that those who recite the kalima but have hatred towards the Ahlulbayt, are out of the fold of Islam.
- All Muslims, even the wahabis, believe that the love of the Ahlulbayt is an essential belief of the Islamic faith.
- Mentioning a hadith of the 6th Imam where Imam says that the nasibis hate the Shias because the Shias love the Ahlulbayt and disassociate themselves from the enemies of the Ahlulbayt.
- The Salafis, by killing the Shias, are pleasing themselves this way because their hands cannot reach the Ahlulbayt.
- Giving the example of Mutawakil whose regret of not being present to kill Imam Hussain(a) led him to target the grave of Imam Hussain(a).
- The people who kill the Shias are the same. Because they cannot attack the Aale Muhammad themselves, therefore they attack the Shias of the Aale Muhammad.
- To be a Shia is not easy. To be a Muslim is not easy. We need to always pray to Allah (s.w.t) to give us the strength, the insight and the courage to hold on strongly to the path of the Ahlulbayt.
- Different challenges faced by Muslims in the West.
- Anti Muslim sentiments are growing, especially in the USA.
- We still find some voices of reason who speak clearly against those kinds of attitudes.
- Quoting a statement of Barack Obama where he reminds the American people of their dark history.
- Importance of realizing that North Americans are also children of immigrants.
- Powerful statement of Larycia Alaine Hawkins, a professor from Chicago, who decided to wear hijab until Christmas to show her solidarity to Muslims.
- This is a message of courage for Muslim women. It is our jihad and we cannot compromise in such situations.
- Importance of educating our neighbors, work colleagues and others of our true values with our behaviour and Akhlaq whilst interacting with them.

"The Nigerian government should know that the Shias of Nigeria, although they are a minority, they are not alone. The whole world is watching."

"A Nasibi is someone who hates you, not because of you, but because you love Al-e-Muhammad. They kill Shias because they are unable to harm the Ahlul Bayt themselves"
